Hey! It's Ella! So the interesting thing about Italy is that the public bathrooms are NASTY! So we decided to have some fun and create an Instagram account to review toilets!😂Also there is a surprisingly number of no toilet seats that we have noticed. We looked this up and found that the reason why it says toilet seat is because a lot of toilets in Italy don't have one. But they have a place where one used to be. We looked this up and the reason why they don't have them is because people stand on them and break them! Crazy! Then, they don't replace them for one of the two reasons: Either they just know it's going to happen again so they don't care or they try to but give up because they can't find one that matches. Here's why: In America if you go to Home Depot to pick out a toilet seat, you have two options: Regular and extended. It's easy to replace a toilet seat. But, if you go somewhere to find a seat in Europe, they have 50 different types! They range from where the bolt holes are to the dimensions to the thickness to the curves! When they try to replace it, they simple give up! This is why toilet seats are rare!
