Hey!!!!! Today we checked out of the boat and took a taxi to our place in Split where we spent the night before leaving Croatia. Our place was so cute! Then, we walked to a park to eat our lunch and Remy played on the playground. After that, we went to the Living Museum about the Romans and gladiators. They showed you the armor and let you put it on and take pictures! Then, you got to do archery! It was so fun! Once we finished that, we split up. My mom and I checked out the Dioclesian's palace which is part of the Old city while my dad and Remy went back to change the laundry and then went for a hike overlooking the city. We met back at a restaurant near our place and got appetizers and then went to this really hamburger place! We also went into a candy shop after dinner. Yummmmmmm!

Helloooooo! Today, we woke up in Venice and went to breakfast at the hotel where Remy took the opportunity to make a huge mess with her Nutella.ππWhen we were done, we got ready which took forever and went to lunch. (We left our place at 2pm) After that, there was this amazing stationary store and it was amaaazing! It was all hand made leather and marbelized paper and beautiful notebooks. One of the things I didn't really think about Venice was high tide and low tide. Did water come on the paths when it was high tide? The answer, yes. When we walked around and went to San Marcos square where it was flooded (actually high tide and rain). We managed to get through to Saint Marks Basilica which was awesome! After that, we came back and hung out for a little while and went to dinner at this great restaurant on a canal! π

Today, we packed everything up and my mom and Remy went to the Peggy Guggenheim Collection. I didn't go because I was half asleep. Once they left, my dad and I finished up packing and went to the cafe we went on the first day. I got a hot chocolate and a chicken sandwich, and my dad got coffee and a ham and cheese omelet. Then, we went to the stationary store again and got a leather book for my mom. We left there and went back to our place to get our bags. We lugged our bags to the nearest public water bus and took it to the train station where we met my mom and Remy. One of the things I liked about Venice was that there were still a few roads without water. They weren't meant for cars but you could walk on them to get places. One of the things I didn't like was that it's kind of annoying getting around because there are so many little roads that the map doesn't know about so it gets all crazy. Anyway now, I'm sitting on train in the way to Florence. ππ
See ya later!
